Following successful appearances at Westival 2022 and 2023, this ensemble of talented singers and musicians returns to present an excitng cross-cultural experience for festival patrons. This evening’s concert offers an eclectic mix of folk and contemporary music selections from Ukraine and Ireland, featuring innovative original arrangements.
In the past 2 years the ensemble has performed at a wide range of events, including concerts at music festivals such as Westival, The Clare Island Folk Festival and Fleadh Ceol Mayo.
The ensemble recently performed at the National Fleadh Ceol, 2024, in Wexford, which included a short background film, shot in Westport earlier this year by TG4, shown in advance of a live televised performance.
The ensemble have featured in a number of newspaper and magazine articles in The Mayo News and The Mayo Yearbook during 2023 and 2024, in a special 2-hour program on MidWest Radio during Christmas week 2023 and a recent performance on the Pat Kenny Show.
