SURFMAYO (1998) was the first surf school to be established in County Mayo and, indeed, one of the first surf hire companies to set up in Ireland. It is located at the beautiful beach of Carrowniskey Strand in Louisburgh which can be found on the Wild Atlantic Way.
Since SURFMAYO was established, it has been an ISA (Irish Surfing Association) approved surf school that abides to specific standards that are evaluated on a yearly basis. SURFMAYO is the closest, and most experienced, surf school to the popular destinations of Louisburgh and Westport.
